Black & Batik Swap

These are my blocks for Teresa's black & batik swap on the about.com quilting forum. The larger 16" one is called Firewheel from quilterscache.com and the smaller heart block is a pattern from the about.com site - the name escapes me at the moment. Looking forward to seeing everyone else's efforts from this swap - I've participated before and the results are stunning! One of these days I'll have enough of the blocks to make a quilt. My niece Jessica, who is in pharmacy school, has given me a 2 year deadline on the quilt as she will graduate in 2 years and thinks she might want it as her graduation gift!
