Ethan's quilt

My niece, Jessica - my sister's youngest daughter - spent 5 weeks with me this summer - doing one of her rotations here in Phoenix for her last year of pharmacy school. Her boyfriend, Andrew, has a 4 year old son, Ethan - and Ethan has never gotten a quilt from me. I got to spend some time with him when I drove back to Illinois with her at the end of her rotation, and he's a great kid. So this will be his Christmas gift - he loves cows and the focus fabric is cowboys herding cattle - it's not quite twin-sized, but a generous lap-size, so hopefully he can use it for a few years before he outgrows it. It's on its way to Hilda who generously offered to quilt it for me - and we found a cool pantograph of stippling and cow heads - look sort of like longhorns to me. Hope he likes it!
